Pastor Bob & Stephanie Mason

About Pastor Bob:

Pastor Bob was born and raised right here on the north coast of California. The majesty of the stars and tall trees instilled a sense of awe and wonder in him from an early age. He could sense that behind that beauty was an awesome and loving Creator.       

Blessed with parents who knew God and introduced Him from the start, Pastor Bob learned the powerful stories from God's word, the Bible, during family worship, Sabbath School, and from the Christian teachers at Fortuna Jr. Academy. Throughout his life he has grown in knowing this God who created us and sent His Son, Jesus Christ to save us from our sinful lost ways.

It was sometime during his 8th grade year that Pastor Bob sensed God calling him to pastoral ministry. That sense of calling has only grown ever since. To prepare for that calling, he majored in Theology at Pacific Union College, interned at the Modesto Parkwood Adventist Church (where he met his wife, Stephanie), and went on to the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where he earned his Master of Divinity (he's still puzzled by the oxymoronic name). Prior to coming here, Pastor Bob & Stephanie have ministered in the Central California Conference for over 20 years.

Pastor Bob and Stephanie have been married over 20 years and have cared for several children as foster parents. They have a daughter who is a teacher in a Christian school, a son serving as Military Police in the army, and presently are raising their adoptive son and daughter, Timmy  and Marissa.
